Nature route

There are three nature trails that we recommend doing during your stay in Casa Cantone: first the magnificent Subasio Park on Assisi, second, the Marmore Falls near the city of Terni, spectacular and with a beautiful path that also goes into the waterfall and last, more in nearby, walking in the woods or on horseback.

Abbeys route

The Umbria Region is full of wonderful churches and abbeys, located not only in well-known places, but spread everywhere and very often outside classical tours. We suggest four abbeys in the surroundings that deserve a visit: Sassovivo Abbey in Foligno with its wonderful cloister, the Abbey of San Fortunato in Montefalco that preserves the paintings by Benozzo Gozzoli “Madonna and Child between St. Francis and San Bernardino from Siena and seven angels “, San Ponziano Abbey (XII – XII sec.) In Spoleto and the Abbey of San Felice in Giano dell’Umbria with the characteristic presbytery isolated from the rest of the church by elevation of the altar through a high stairway.
